My Rant! / Blog Lesson!

Good evening to all. In retrospect there was a couple of things that -in all of my excitement about the baby- I failed to cover in my first blog post.

Having spent some time in the  Internet Marketing field, I know that there tends to be a lot of people who just take for granted what a person, online, knows or not. I’ve seen this happen over and over in this industry.

For instance, you may buy a particular software to institute in your business, in order to automate your business better. Which in itself is a great idea. In my experience, most of the time, you can make your purchase of this software, open it up and read the instructions and low and behold your utterly confused.

That’s mainly because, they sold you the software assuming that you already know HTML code, php in general, how to FTP so that you can upload your purchase, or even how to create a MySQL database through your cPanel. With any software, normally, you need to know at least one of these five things to be able to use your software. More times than not, you need to know all of it!

I’m sure some of you are saying, “I don’t know what any of that nonsense is, where are the baby pictures!” Sorry for the brief rant, but I say all of this because I have assumed that everyone knows how a blog works. Most people are Internet savvy, so they do know. Yet, there still are some who are in the dark about computers period.

For those who don’t, I posted the following video explaining how to navigate a blog, post comments and subscribe to the RSS Feed.

Just two last things. First you have to click on that play icon below just once for the video to play. Second, the video looks exactly like the page you are on, so don’t go scrolling all over the page cause it will play right in front of you where you click.

Well, here it is, enjoy:

I will be posting more pictures very shortly in about an hour or so, but for now I’m off to watch Xavier for a few. They will be posted later this evening. So definitely check back for those new pictures!

May All Your Ventures Be Met With Success,
