New Video To Analyze!

I’m up late tonight working on my next project that I hope will be a benefit to all of my members. In the end I’m sure that all of this sleep deprivation will be worth it! There was a video that I saw once before that I wanted to use for this post but I didn’t know if I would find it. My seemingly endless search of You Tube eventually paid off though and I have it here for your Enjoyment!

One last note: please disregard the advertisement itself at the end, I want you to focus simply on the concept of this commercial.

This video, for me, represents the most important aspect of any business, whether online or in the brick and mortar field (that means offline for you “newbies”). Do you know what I’m talking about? Post a comment answering that question. I’ll answer it in my next post.

May All Your Ventures Be Met With Success,

That video demonstrates to me the awesome power of viral marketing, leverage and uncertainty. It’s like throwing a pebble into a pond and creating rings of ripples that continuously expand in every direction at once.

    The trigger is ACTION.

Too often when we get an idea, instead of applying it and benefitting from the results, we analyze it to death… literally. We get trapped in debate, speculation and hypothesis and eventually convince ourselves that the idea was useless anyway, and then we discard it.

The result: nothing ventured, nothing gained!

In the video clip, the guy trips. It’s that non-spectacular accident that precipitates the chaotic fallout that ensues. Viewed from a marketing perspective, it shows that a tiny action can result in an avalanche of buzz, attention and traffic.

Telling one person (the right person) about your product, service or opportunity, can be the catalyst that stirs up raging interest, or the lever that helps you to move huge quantities of product.

The uncertainty factor is appealling because of its potential to be enormously rewarding. You can find yourself, one day, in the envious position of having to say things like: “If anyone had told me yesterday that I would be enjoying such a bonanza today, I would not have believed it.”

You should never diminish an idea’s worthiness because of its simplicity. Some of the most powerful and rewarding ideas are disguised in simplicity.
