I believe that RoboForm is one of the most useful Internet Marketing Resources that is not used to it’s fullest potential! I have been a firm believer in RoboForm for a couple of years now. Well, simply put, it’s because the potential of RoboForm makes it any Internet Marketer’s dream tool. The various options that you have for it’s use are many. Any Marketer’s Dream: Word Of Mouth!

In my last post I placed a video in the post and asked the readers to explain what this video would mean to them in terms of their business. If you have yet to read that post and see the accompanying video, then I suggest you scroll down to my last post, watch that video, leave a comment and then join the rest of us right here. We’ll even wait for you to do that before we begin…

You back already! Well, anyway, what do you think this short commercial represents? For me, this video represents the power of “Word Of Mouth”! Word of mouth is such a powerful weapon in your business, whether it be an online venture or an offline one. Why is it so powerful?

It happens to be very powerful because in most word of mouth situations, it tends to be just everyday conversation. We live in a world of constant advertisements. So much so, that in our psyche, even on a subconcious level, we have been trained to tune out any form of marketing. We’re bombarded with forms of advertisement every step of our day. In the morning we have commercials on the radio when we get up. If you check the weather, you will most likely have to wait until the run of commercials is over before you can get the temperature. Even once it does come on, it begins with the lead in of, “Today’s forecast is brought to you by…”! On the way to work we have radio commercials again, billboards, the tax person in the gorilla suit or the statue of liberty outfit. If you get to work and check your email, you have pop-ups. If your pop-up blocker is on then you still get hit with banner ads! And on and on, and on and on!

As a people we have learned to tune all of this, once clever, forms of advertising out. We’ve become immune to it and honestly, oblivious to all of it’s herculean efforts. So what does this mean for the marketer? It means that you have to find other avenues in order to get your message heard. Which is why word of mouth is such a great form of advertising. With word of mouth you find yourself in a conversation, instead of being shouted at! Which is what most advertisements amount to. Someone screaming at you, “BUY, BUY, BUY!”

Why do you think social marketing is so big right now? Simply because social sites amount to conversation. You have peers talking to you, not at you! Master this in your marketing and you’ll reap the rewards of breaking through that marketing barrier that many people have up at all times!

How can you attain “true” word of mouth and not feigned word of mouth through spamming the social site hemisphere. Over deliver on your product. Put what everyone else wants ahead of yours, starting with your customer’s, also your affiliates and your JV partners. If they can get what they want and more, you’ll get more than what you were looking for! As always your comments are welcome.

On a side note, I have a funny video for you guy’s that I actually taped myself. The unsuspecting victim had no idea that he was even being recorded! The victim was me! My web cam must have popped on while I was burning the midnight oil and exposed me in my weakest state of sleep deprivation. You might want to turn your speakers down since the king of the jungle has a mighty roar!

You can hear the washing machine in the background going strong and everything. That’s a pretty good mic! If you can’t laugh at yourself then you don’t deserve to laugh at all. Until my next post…

New Video To Analyze!

I’m up late tonight working on my next project that I hope will be a benefit to all of my members. In the end I’m sure that all of this sleep deprivation will be worth it! There was a video that I saw once before that I wanted to use for this post but I didn’t know if I would find it. My seemingly endless search of You Tube eventually paid off though and I have it here for your Enjoyment!

One last note: please disregard the advertisement itself at the end, I want you to focus simply on the concept of this commercial.

This video, for me, represents the most important aspect of any business, whether online or in the brick and mortar field (that means offline for you “newbies”). Do you know what I’m talking about? Post a comment answering that question. I’ll answer it in my next post.

“Battle At Kruger” Second Analysis!

First of all, have you watched the, “Battle At Kruger” video? If not, then scroll down to the previous post and watch the video in it’s entirety, read the post and then leave a comment! Then venture back to this post and continue on with the discussion of this video. Please tell me what you think. This blog is receiving plenty of hits but I still don’t see anyone posting comments! You do the math on that one! Please register and post comments. Your feedback is what makes all of this even possible!

So what else can we take personally from this unique video from the web. There is a lot that can be taken from this video. One of the things that I felt was that this video was a great example of the power of perseverance.

At any moment that calf could have given up his fight for life, just laid down and not resisted the frontal attacks by the lions or the crocodiles. If so, he may have been dead even before the herd had a chance to even attempt a rescue. Do we at the first sign of any resistance find ourselves giving in to heavy pressures? Or are we similar to this calf and fighting fully for our dreams and in all actuality, our life?

Or how about the power in numbers? Just the sheer numbers of that herd was enough to scare off a pack of lions. In our Online pursuits, the power of numbers can never be under estimated! Could you use the support of others giving you much needed encouragement whenever times seem to be at their roughest? Who couldn’t?! How about others pushing you to chase your pursuits and accomplish your goals?

I’m in the process of creating something that will do just that: Create power in numbers! Stay tuned for that.

“Battle at Kruger” video analysis.

This video has been circulating on the Internet for some time now. You may have already viewed it before, because a lot of people have. It is very close to having 26, 500, 000 views. Now that’s a lot of views. So, you see why I said you may have viewed this video already.

If you have viewed this video already then you know that it’s worth your time to view it again. For the ones who have not viewed it already, enjoy. This video is about eight-and-a-half minutes long. Trust me when I say that after a minute you won’t even realize that fact.

I have to warn you ahead of time that you have to watch the whole video to the very end or the video analysis will be incomplete. Alright, enough from me, watch the video, then read the rest of the post and leave your comment about it all. Whether you agree with my analysis or not, let me know either way!

So what does this video have to do with you, you may be mumbling to yourself. For me it reminds me of an analogy that I’ve heard many different times. I’m sure you’ve heard people say, “There are three/two (or however many they decide to use) different types of people in this world…” At which point they fill in the rest with their brilliant analogy.

Well here is mine… “There are three types of people in this world… There are the spectators, the instigators and those that are participators. Now in the case of this video I don’t think that I can find the real instigators. Some may say the crocodiles were but in reality they were participants in the action.

Now you can be more than one of these but even if you are, there is always one attribute that is always going to be more predominate in your personality then any of the other two. For the sake of this analysis we’ll say that the crocodiles were participators.

The other participants were of course, the buffalo and the lions. The spectators, was quite evidently those who were videotaping the whole incident as it unfolded.

Now you can run into situations on many different levels just like this one everyday, yet, the players in the game will be the same: Spectators, Instigators & Participators. Now, spectators have the least courage of them all. Some will watch from an up close vantage point, or some from far away in the safety of an opened window but never will they be directly involved in the action!

Remember the folks in the car? How many times can you remember them saying, “Oh, it’s too late! It’s too late!” That’s a spectators position, being uninvolved in the action but still highly opinionated about it’s development and even the outcome. Yet, their comments are more times than none out of the hearing range of the participtors. Heaven forbid they be called out on their honest opinion!

On the other hand, the instigator has just enough courage to be right up in the fray of things not only spectating but also instigating the action. An instigator would have said to the buffalo, “You just going to let them take that calf like that? If that was me I wouldn’t go for that at all!” Then to the lions he would have said, “What’s wrong with you guys? All of you big hungry lions and none of you guys could even take that small calf!” While all the while saying to the crocodiles, “I knew the lions was the king of the jungle! This just proves what I’ve been saying! I told you Hippo. Didn’t I tell you?”

In the meantime, all of the participants are the most courageous of all three. They not only had a plan of attack but they were also willing to act on their plans and put their plan into action. Win, lose or draw they can be satisfied in the thought that at least they were in the game. You can’t score from the bench!

Wayne Gretsky, arguably one of the greatest hockey players to ever put the skates on, once said, “100% of the shots that are never taken, never score!” Or something to that effect, the exact quote fails me but that was the gist of his remark.

Those who don’t even attempt to implement a plan in pursuit of their desires will always fail. “To try is to risk failure. To not try at all, is to guarantee it!” Some people refuse to ask a question, for fear that they will be told NO. Not even realizing, when they decided not to ask, that they still received the NO that they were trying so hard to avoid.

My question to you is this, “Of the three personalities mentioned, which one are you?”

I have another viewpoint on this video that applies to everyday life but I’ll save that post for another day!

Handicapped Wrestler Inspires Us All!

I received an email from one of the many Internet Marketing newsletters that I am currently subscribed to and I was truly inspired by the story.

As you can see from my headline this story is about an amazing young man on a high school wrestling team that happens to be handicapped. This kid, who by the way has a record of 36-1, overcame all odds to become the best in his class. I mean that in more ways than one!

Just thinking about the inspiration that this kid provides can be an inspiration to us all! Are you considering giving up your online aspirations and submitting to the pressures that continually press on you to just focus on your everyday rat race? Think of this kid! The constant naysayers, who just may be part of your closest support system, in your own household! Think of this kid! Those ones that look at you sideways whenever you express your goal to build an online empire that will enable you to quit your day job, make a living from your online adventures and quite possibly amass a fortune in this very lucrative field. Think of this kid!

When this kid was asked how did he overcome the incredible odds that were stacked against him his reply was, “I just love the sport of wrestling!” His love for what he was doing was enough to enable him to overcome a handicap that almost everyone else thought would be insurmountable, including myself!

Do you love your dream enough to overcome all of the odds stacked against you in your pursuit of an Internet Marketing career. A career of financial freedom and the ability to pursue what is most important to you such as: more free time to spend with family, the ability to make purchases without having to balance your checkbook or even sacrifice something else that you may want just to do so, the freedom to say I don’t feel like working today or the option of taking your family or loved ones on a vacation anywhere on the globe!

When you feel this way remember this story of the handicapped kid who became one of the best wrestlers despite it all. THINK OF THIS KID!

The kid who was 36-1, despite all the odds. Despite his handicap of having no arms or any legs. Can you imagine that? Imagine the criticism and ridicule he faced when he told others that he wanted to be a wrestler. Not just from outsiders but quite possibly from his closest friends and family who may have thought they were protecting him by telling him that’s not a good idea! Imagine how many naysayers and people looking at him sideways that he had to endure.

When you do think about giving up on your dream to pursue an income online, think of this kid, then get back to your pursuit of happyness!

My Rant! / Blog Lesson!

Good evening to all. In retrospect there was a couple of things that -in all of my excitement about the baby- I failed to cover in my first blog post.

Having spent some time in the  Internet Marketing field, I know that there tends to be a lot of people who just take for granted what a person, online, knows or not. I’ve seen this happen over and over in this industry.

For instance, you may buy a particular software to institute in your business, in order to automate your business better. Which in itself is a great idea. In my experience, most of the time, you can make your purchase of this software, open it up and read the instructions and low and behold your utterly confused.

That’s mainly because, they sold you the software assuming that you already know HTML code, php in general, how to FTP so that you can upload your purchase, or even how to create a MySQL database through your cPanel. With any software, normally, you need to know at least one of these five things to be able to use your software. More times than not, you need to know all of it!

I’m sure some of you are saying, “I don’t know what any of that nonsense is, where are the baby pictures!” Sorry for the brief rant, but I say all of this because I have assumed that everyone knows how a blog works. Most people are Internet savvy, so they do know. Yet, there still are some who are in the dark about computers period.
